Joanna was called to the Malaysian Bar in October 1999. She obtained her LL.B degree from the University of London in 1997 and her Certificated of Legal Practice in 1998. She chambered at Messrs. Paul Chong & Kraal in 1999 and went to commence practice with Messrs. Dheema Praba & Partners as a Legal Assistant responsible primary for banking and general commercial dispute litigation.
In October 2002, she moved to Messrs. Dass Jainab & Associates where she practiced as a Legal Assistant in its general litigation department. She commenced practice with us in January 2004 until she was promoted as a Senior Associate in January 2008. Joanna is now a Partner in our firm since 1st April 2011 and her areas of practice are banking and general commercial debt recovery litigation including foreclosure etc.
